The self-checkout has several working scenarios:

1. Product demonstration.
2. Payment processing.
3. Sales and payment.
4. Sales, payment, and dispensing (vending).

The working scenario depends on the connected equipment and the program settings.

The most common scenarios supported by i-Retail include:

• Purchase through a product catalog with item details

This scenario involves manually browsing through the catalog and viewing the details of the selected product or service. For example, it can be used for clothing, electronics, household appliances, and complex products. The customer independently selects the desired items or services from the catalog, opens the product card for a detailed view, and proceeds to make a payment.

• Quick purchase through the catalog

This scenario allows customers to browse the catalog and quickly add the desired items or services to their cart. It is suitable for regular customers who are already familiar with the assortment or for simple products that don’t require a detailed description. Common examples include food service, simple services, quick service, car wash, and more.

• One-click purchase

Convenient for simple products where the selection of multiple items is not expected. For example, vending machines, buying coffee, entrance tickets, appointment scheduling, and more.

• Price checker

Sometimes our application is used as a price checker. There is a screen with a scanner in the retail store. The customer picks up a product from the shelf, scans it, and views detailed information about the item.

• Purchases through a scanner

This is suitable for supermarkets. For example, a user selects items, loads them into a shopping cart, approaches a designated area, scans the items, and proceeds to make the payment.
